El Cielito Lindo Mexican Restaurant

We decided to try this place for lunch since It's right down the road. We did takeout. The staff on the phone was great. They asked of we wanted everything on our dishes (we did). I thought it was nice they were mindful that some people might not want stuff. I was initially worried since I was the only customer I saw but the food was delicious and the portions were excellent. The card reader machine in the front was broken so they swiped my card in the back. I have no complaints. I'll probably go again.

They have very good food. Everytime I get the Cubana Torta the fries that comes with it are ALWAYS crunchy and hot. Nice and Fresh. My torta is always nice and hot as well. I always try a place out 3 times before I leave a review, me and my gf have been here maybe close to 8 times now and every single time we've been its always hot and fresh food and great service. 8.5/10 would definitely reccomend.

Tried them last night for dinner and everything was so good! They have redone a firmer Bojangles beautifully. Drinks were great, and tgey have happy hours during the week. Two of us had different burritos, which were excellent and big. Hubby had a quesedilla that was so big that half came home. Owners and servers are lovely and gracious. Service was a bit slow, but no need to rush all the time through meals. The food is more "authentic" Mexican food as opposed to "Americanized", and was really delicious. They run specials during the week and we will be going back to try different entrees.

Best chimichangas I’ve had in a while! (Deadpool would be proud). Go here for the chimichangas, get surprised by the friendly staff, and stay for the amazing street tacos! Street tacos on a fresh corn tortillas packed with meat and fresh toppings hit the spot and were great! Chorizo is a chefs kiss. Carne asada, chicken, and carnitas were all great. Well cooked meat that was juicy and full of flavor. Best dang chimichangas I’ve had in a while, maybe in VA.

Trying out El Cielito Lindo Mexican today. Delicious tacos and their Taco Tuesday special is unbeatable- $1.50 tacos. The tacos al pastor were good but the chorizo tacos and burrito deluxe with shredded beef were amazing! Service is a little slow and we had one hiccup - my husband ordered a chicken and a beef burrito and got two beef, but that’s so not a big deal since the beef was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Appears to be family owned. So great to have a great restaurant close to home - location is 2807 Hicks Rd. Please come support this lovely new business
